Module Erasmus+ - les 1

Hello everyone!

Today was the first lesson of the Erasmus+ module. The teachers (Miss Dilissen and Miss Dexters) told us what we will be doing and after that, we've been working on our projects that we've chosen by ourselves.
We (Yanne and Leentje) have made a planning because our project is a big one, so we have figured out when we are going to do what. We want to make a scrapbook with little things about Belgium. For example: a puzzle with facts and tipical things about our country. The next weeks, we are going to work on these little things and finally we are going to put it together in our scrapbook. Beside this, we are going to make a ground plan from our school.

Next week, two other students will be telling about their project.

Today we worked on our noticeboard.
Our noticeboard is divided in 3 countries; The Netherlands, Hungary and Spain.

We have chosen The Netherlands and we have searched information and pictures about the country.
We printed it out and next lesson we are about to hang them on the noticeboard, so the exchange
students know a little bit more about the other countries.

Today we started with filming our school.
We did that because we want to present it to everyone that is coming to our school. We're almost finished with filming, after that the fun starts: editing!

The second hour we worked on our conversation for next week to do a video conference with the Spanish people.

Hi everyone!

Today we've made video contact with students from Spain and Hungary, since today is European Day of Languages. We’ve learned some facts about languages from all over the world. It was really nice to meet teenagers from other countries. We saw each other at the screen, interacted and ... We have also been interviewed for the newspaper about our trip to The Hague.

Last lesson all students worked really hard, soooo hard that they forgot to post what they were up to.
Actually some of them have been preparing their trip to the Netherlands (we are leaving 10/9/2016), to The Hague. We are all so looking forwards to it!

Others have continued their little projects: creating a scrap book about Belgium, testing apps for school use and listing them, filming at the Campus, finishing the international wall, finding suiting pictures which are typical for Belgium. So much has been done during the last month, that we cannot wait to show everything to the students of The Hague, Budapest and Gijón when they are visiting us at the end of January.

Today Miss Dexters gave us the task to do research about privacy on the internet. We saw some really interesting (and sometimes a bit shocking) videos about this subject. We learnt that you need to be careful with the things you put on the internet. We need to do a presentation about privacy policy as well.

Kind regards

Today the people that went to The Hague told us about their trip, what they did and what they experienced. Miss Dillisen showed us some pictures of the school and the places that they visited. After we had seen the pictures we did some brainstorming about what we are going to do in January when they come to Belgium. We really appreciated that we could bring our own ideas into the project.

Today we searched on the internet if cameras are legal and when you are allowed to have one. What we found on the internet were the rules you should follow and what the school needs to respect. We also went to the commercial street and the station to see if there were cameras. The result is that there were a lot of cameras inside the shops and around the station. When we entered the commercial street we also saw a sign that warned us for cameras in the streets.

Today, we saw some introduction videos of the people from Spain, the Netherlands and Hungary. Then we needed to choose one of the students from a different country and write a Christmas card to them.

Module Erasmus+ - les 10

Today all students worked in group on their own project that the teacher gave them. We worked on a tutorial for storybird and we made a powerpoint with information about how to make a storybird. Some students made Christmas cards for their hosts or other people from the Erasmus project, other students made a tutorial about autocue,...
It was a very nice and funny lesson :)

We would like to tell you a little bit about today's lesson: We have seen a tour video about our school. We created a instruction powerpoint about storybird. We also made a text about a picture of Holland. And we began to make a Quizlet presentation with Dutch words.
